The physicians of Colorectal Surgery Associates are committed to treating patients as individuals, to communicating their medical care in a manner that patients can understand, and to developing trusting doctor-patient relationships in order to foster the best possible treatment outcomes.  They have extensive experience in colon and rectal surgery for cancer, with special emphasis on sphincter-saving surgery (thus avoiding colostomy in many cases).  Other innovative procedures they perform include the pelvic J-pouch for ulcerative colitis, the PPH stapling procedure for internal hemorrhoids, and laparoscopic colon surgery for a minimally-invasive alternative to open abdominal colon surgery.
